An art and revival movie house during my high school years, now refurbished as a concert venue popular with young Denverites like the protagonist in my book. Statuesque -- and, at times, spooky-looking -- mansion at the corner of 12th and Pennsylvania. The kind of place where a character in A Western Capitol Hill might leave a severed head on one of the fence posts.
