Season's Greetings From A Western Capitol Hill.

Allen Tupper True's murals of idealized Indians look down
upon the Xmas Tree at the old Colorado National Bank building
(now the Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel.)

Put a star on a parking garage and it'll look holy!

Holiday wreath next to a Know the Law poster--informing
people that public marijuana consumption remains
illegal--attached  to a downtown Denver info kiosk.

Thank God! Boxers. Medium, please.

Keep back! Magi worshiping miraculous child, behind fence,
at Denver's City & County building.

It's Blue Balls Season for Santa, until after the 25th.
(No stocking stuffer jokes, please)

Season's Greetings From A Western Capitol Hill.

Christmas tree in front of the Tiffany stained glass at Downtown Denver's historic Equitable Building.

Candle-carrying Christmas Carolers evangelizing through Xmas songs -- on 12/12/12, no less.

Baby Jesus nativity display at Denver City and County building. The figure to the left of Jesus just proves that the Wise Men came from near and far from the Middle East, in order to witness the miraculous child.

"Merry Christmas" says Denver's City and County Building.

"Peace On Earth 2012." A nice thought, at least.

Xmas lights in front of flag at half-mast.

Red shoes left behind in the snow.

O Cannabaum, O Cannabaum! Xmas tree lot next to a Medical Marijuana Center in Denver.

Author! Author! Colorado's marijuana legalization this year makes it a Green Christmas.

Season's Greetings From A Western Capitol Hill.

Denver's City and County Building with its annual holiday display. "Merry Christmas" and "2011 Peace on Earth" are two of the illuminated messages, secular and non-secular.

Nativity Scene at Denver's City and County Building. The baby Jesus seems to be displaying a decidedly "Whaddya Gonna Do?" style of expression.

Freakish-looking elves meant to impart holiday cheer at Denver's City and County Building.

"There are still many for whom there is no room in the inn."

Occupy Xmas.

Snow on "Poets Row."

Season's Greetings From A Western Capitol Hill.

Santa -- and nativity scene -- certainly weren't M.I.A. from Denver's City and County Building, again this year.

Capitol Hill Xmas Illumination.

Not-So-Secret Santas.

Something Santa Cometh This Way.

Blue Tree of Lights at Union Station.
