Respect Life...and the Rules of the Road.

Here's one of the dozens of specialty license plates available to motorists in Colorado:

It's the "Respect Life" plate with the state flower, the columbine, on it. It was designed as a message of hope and solidarity following the Columbine school shooting; subsequently, it's become tied to the abortion debate due to its adoption by "Pro-life"/"Anti-choice" protesters. Over 118,000 people in Colorado have one of these on their cars -- whatever their personal reasons might be for having chosen it.

In my book, I envision something dreadful taking place involving an auto that's sporting one of these license plates.
